Below is important information regarding voting for open MPA Board Officer positions. Per our By-Laws, as parents and guardians of students who participate in the high school music programs (band, orchestra, choir, color guard and drum line), you are considered to be general members of this corporation and have the privilege of voting for the Board of Trustees membership. Please read the information below carefully before placing your vote.
- You are eligible to vote if you have a current student in a DASD High School music program. This includes current seniors.
- You are also eligible to vote if you have an 8th grade student who will be part of a DASD High School music program next Fall.
- Voting is not by family, but per individual, as each parent and guardian of a student is permitted to vote.
Voting Process
- Voting will remain open until 11:59 pm on Friday, May 19, 2023.
- When voting, you will first be asked to provide identifying information (email address, parent name, student first name, high school attended, music program(s), and graduation year), so that we can verify eligibility.

As a reminder, our Spring parent meeting will take place on Tuesday, May 16th in the STEM Auditorium. We hope to see all current and 8th grade Music parents there!
