This time of year, the MPA typically hosts a welcome picnic for families of incoming 9th grade music program students. This year we are opening up the event as a Welcome (Back) picnic. It is open to next year’s incoming 9th-12th grade STEM/East/West band/choir/orchestra students and their families on Tuesday, June 15 at 6pm the Kottmeyer Stadium Concession Stand followed by a brief general Music Parents meeting at 6:30pm to learn about the MPA’s role in supporting our music program and what parents and students can do to get involved and help next school year.
The student and parent volunteers who help run our food concession sales during events at the stadium will be critically important next year as we rebuild after a year of ZERO concessions due to the pandemic.
